Michelle Obama in London, London, Lon-don

Barack and Michelle have taken London by storm during their visit fro the G20 summit. And Michelle has looked absolutely stunning at every event; her choices in clothing have been flawless. I still can't believe that she doesn't have a stylist! There are celebrities that pay good money for people to dress them and they look no where as put together as her. She knows her body well and what styles and colors work best for her shape; notice she usually flaunts her arms or legs. Her look for their London arrival was the perfect spring ensemble. Wearing bright feminine materials with dark leather accessories is definitely an effortlessly chic look for this season. Michelle is wearing a Jason Wu dress, Michael Kors cardigan, and that signature belt. This is very easy to duplicate; hopefully you already have the cardigan and belt in your closet, so just go out and get yourself a bright dress. Here's a possible option:

Forever 21;V-neck cardigan; $15.80

First Lady Fashion

Luckily, Michelle Obama has taken the basic dress to a new level. And with the weather getting warmer, it's time to start getting dresses for Spring. Before she was First Lady, Michelle Obama was a high-powered VP making over $200,000 a year, had 2 young daughters, and balanced a household while Barack was campaigning for Senate. Now with a schedule like this, who has time to think about what to wear? That’s why Michelle’s style is effortless, simple, elegant, and oh so fab! She probably doesn't have a lot of time to put outfits together, so she creates instantly great looks with dresses and statement accessories. I think we can all take a lesson from Michelle and invest in a few "go-to" dresses for our closets.

Arden B.; $78
The belt and floral print are so Michelle

J. Crew; $69.99
I always J Crew was over priced and for white suburban moms, but Michelle has made J Crew the place to shop. They offer bright colors and flattering cuts, and their sales are great!

Michelle Obama graces the March cover of Vogue!

Michelle Obama is on the March issue of Vogue; I will be picking up about 5 issues of this! Doesn't see look great? And don't be fooled by mainstream media claiming 10 or more African American women have been on the cover of Vogue, it's a lie. Michelle Obama is the 4th African American woman to grace the cover alone; Halle Berry, Oprah Winfrey, and Jennifer Hudson have previously been Vogue cover models.
