If you liked it then you should've put a ring on it?
Beyonce's single. Ok, so I'll be honest, I'm not the greatest fan of this single, and I'm sure a significant number of individuals may disagree with my personal sentiments. "Single Ladies" is belongs to the same rhythm familia of "Get Me Bodied" and reminds men everywhere that "if you liked it, then you should've put a ring on it." As my homegirl WJ boasts, "what if I didn't want the ring?" Have at it.

I just saw the video, you may want to replace this with that. Her body is out of control in the video, and I am not crazy about this song either. Its get me bodied performed at church with everyone catching the holy spirit. I think if there was a dance to it, then I would be more crazy about it. Beyonce keep doing your thing nonetheless
I'm in love with the song...probably because I'm recently engaged (two months) and I LOVE it how all of these guys I used to mess with are calling me, trying to get back at me - everything. Granted, they aren't the man I wanted to marry, but I was feeling them and so I love the song b/c I'm like, "ho ho ho ho ho ho ho ho"....or HA HA HA! Its just cute to me, saying, you didn't want me when you had me, HA..someone else did and he was man enough to put a ring on it!
congratulations! I feel you, I just don't agree that every man who "wants" you should feel coerced to give you a ring. It should be "...if you loved it, then you should've put a ring on it." I guess I was expecting more from an almost 30 year old Bey :-)
It hasnt grown on me yet. But I can see how a recently engaged/married woman could be feeling this song. We all know how when we get in a relationship every "who shot john" from your past wants to try to holla.
However...I still prefer "If I were a boy"...that song is crazy (along with the video...by itself...its ok)
