MLK Day is officially observed on Monday the 19th, but today is Dr. King's birthday. So today, remember his dream and be thankful for all he did.
Monday is also MLK National Day of Service and even if your school or work place doesn't observe the day (they should be fined for not observing!) you should try to volunteer. You can search for events in your city on The Presidential Inaugural Committee website:
